About Us

The Mortgage Place is owned and managed by David Sharpe, a finance broker with over twenty years’ experience. David also has extensive experience as a tax accountant, retail sales manager, retail business owner and property investor. He also used to sell international wines and likes a good drop of red.


Who are we? We're finance brokers. We'll help our customers navigate through the competitive and ever-changing mortgage landscape to find the right loan for you whether it’s a home loan, commercial loan, business loan or asset finance. We'll go into bat and negotiate on your behalf, and we'll make the process as simple as possible for you, geared up to deliver fast results. We'll help you avoid the pitfalls, and we'll find loan features to suit your personal circumstances.

A finance broker is someone who shops around for the loan that's right for you. Whether you're in the market for your first home, building a portfolio of investment properties, buying a business or a car we have access to hundreds of loans from a host of Australia's leading lenders.

When should you see us and what can you expect?

You might still be saving for your first home, wishing to use the equity in your current one, or wondering if you're still getting the right deal with your existing lender. You can make an obligation-free appointment with us at a time and place that suits you.
